The former Ghana U20 midfielder has returned to the Ghanaian giants upon the expiration of his loan at FC Cincinnati 2.

Hearts of Oak youngster Salim Adams is back to his parent club from a season-long loan deal at American side FC Cincinnati 2 which expired this month.

The 21-year-old was farmed out by the Phobians to the MLS Next Pro side on a season-long loan deal worth $50,000 with an option to buy.

However, FC Cincinnati opted not exercise the clause to secure the signature of the talented midfielder on permanent basis after the loan spell per Kickgh.com source.

Adams was a regular starter in the MLS Next Pro League for FC Cincinnati 2 where he scored one goal and provided an assist in 23 appearances.

He joined Hearts of Oak on a long-term contract from Division One League side New Edubiase United and played an instrumental role in the Phobians' MTN FA Cup triumph in the 2021/22 season.

Kickgh.com understands that Salim Adams will be registered to bolster Hearts of Oak squad for the second round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season's campaign.

Hearts of Oak are currently struggling in the Ghana Premier League, they are yet to record a win in their last four matches.

The one-time CAF Champions League title holders currently lies 10th position with 17 points after match-week fifteen of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
