Newly-signed Asante Kotoko player, Seth Kwadwo has expressed elation after his move and has described this as a huge step in his career

The Porcupine completed the signing of the midfielder on a four-year deal, following the successful completion of his medical.

The 23-year-old has joined the reigning Ghana FA Cup champions from Bechem United after making 72 league appearances in recent seasons. He came through the ranks at Asokwa Deportivo, where he began to build his reputation as a tough, reliable presence in midfield.

Kwadwo is a combative and disciplined midfielder who adds bite and balance to the middle of the park. His signing is a timely one, following the injury to Andrews Ntim Manu, and provides added depth to the squad ahead of the new season where there’s the CAF confederation cup on the table.

“This is a big step in my career and I’m grateful for the opportunity,” Kwadwo said when speaking with Kotoko Media.

“I spoke with Aziz and Francis before making the move, and they had nothing but good things to say about the club. That gave me a lot of confidence. I’m excited to get started and ready to give everything to help the team win.”

Kwadwo becomes the sixth signing of Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window after the arrival of Aziz Haruna Dari, Francis Acquah, Hubert Gyau, Zackaria Fuseini, and Johnson Owusu Oppong.
