Baba Hamadu Musah, the striker for Skyy FC, has announced his decision to step away from competing in the Division One League following his achievement of securing the top scorer award during the 2022/23 season.
Having netted an impressive 20 goals, Baba Hamadu Musah significantly contributed to Skyy FC's second-place finish in Zone 2 of the 2022–23 season. His performance solidified his reputation as a prolific goalscorer within the lower-tier leagues.
The accomplished goal scorer, who has notably scored three goals across two games for Skyy FC in the ongoing 2023 Division One Super Cup held at Abrankese, shared his sentiments during an interview with Takoradi's Connect FM. He expressed his eagerness to seek new challenges after attaining remarkable accomplishments in the Division One League.

“But I can tell you that I won’t play in Division One League again, it was my target to win the goal king in Division One, and with the help of God, my teammates and fans I was able to win the goal king in Division One, so I can say that for now my work at Division One is done, my job at Division One is 90% done.
“I want to get another challenge by playing in the Premier League because there are big players, good and experienced players in the Ghana Premier League so if I'm able to play in the Premier League I think It will help me to improve on my talent so for now that is my target”
In the context of Skyy FC's third game in the Division One Super Cup, Musah is poised to add to his goal tally as his team takes on Nzema Kotoko.
