Hearts of Oak new head coach, Slavko Matic has started really well, having grinded two wins in his opening two matches in the Ghana Premier League.
After leading them to their first season victory last week over Goldstars, the 'Phobians' built onto that momentum to humble Kotoku Royals by 0-1 in Cape Coast last Saturday in match-week 5.
The game was really a crunchy one with Richmond Ayi kept busy throughout the game but Daniel Afriyie Barnieh's first half goal from the spot-kick made the difference.
Speaking to StarTimes after the game, the Serbian tactician admitted his lads came under a huge pressure at some point but will return to the board to right all wrongs before their next game.
"I think first half was something how we wanted to play. The guys still felt some pressure in the second half. We’re working on it. We must play more with the ball like we played in the first half. We got chances in the first half and we changed the formation in the second half to what I don’t like but what is necessary for the team is that we made it. For better performance and what I want to see is running more with the ball."
Hearts of Oak will look to make it three consecutive wins this weekend when they host Karela United in the capital in week 6.
