Hearts of Oak secured a narrow 1:0 victory over Kotoku Royals in the match day five of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Hearts of Oak secured their second victory under the Serbian trainer, Slavko Matic.
 
The Rainbow boys are sixth with eight points after five games in the League.
 
Speaking after the game, Slavko Matic hinted on rotating the squad to create competition within the team.
 
“I want to bring competition in the team," he noted.
 
"I have said [that] I want to get a better option for us, we have a lot of games and every player would play."
 
Hearts of Oak will host Karela United at the Accra Sports Stadium their next fixture.
