Winger Stephen Appiah Asare has joined Ghana Premier League club Legon Cities on a permanent contract.

The former Tema Youth captain featured for the Royals during their friendly game against US Avranches, which they defeated the lower side 2-1.

Asare was clipped down by their opponents defense, which he was awarded a penalty in the match.

Asare, who became a subject of interest for several domestic clubs, is set to continue his football career with the Accra-based outfit ahead of the second round of the season.

The Royals who are currently 9th on the league table with 24 points will hope his signing will strengthen their squad as they push to finish the season on high.
