The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC has struck a new partnership with Swedru All Blacks, signing on as the club’s official banking and matchday sponsor.
The agreement was announced at ADB’s head office in Accra on Tuesday, with both parties hailing the deal as a step towards strengthening football and community ties.
Edward Ato Sarpong, ADB’s Managing Director, said the bank was delighted to support one of Ghana’s oldest football institutions.
“At ADB, our goal is to go beyond banking by investing in institutions that positively impact lives, and Swedru All Blacks is a perfect partner in that regard,” he said.
He added that the collaboration mirrors shared values of “transformation, innovation and excellence,” noting that while All Blacks are determined to rebuild their legacy, ADB is equally focused on climbing into the top three of Ghana’s banking sector.
The bank also promised further incentives for the club over the course of the season to keep morale high.
Eugene Nobel Noel, General Manager of Swedru All Blacks, welcomed the sponsorship as “timely,” describing it as both a financial and psychological lift for the team as they continue their Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Black Magicians, who returned to the top flight this season, have collected three points from their opening three matches.
