Medeama SC owner, Moses Armah Parker won't rule his side out on the favourites to win the ongoing Ghana Premier League despite their jittery start to the campaign.

The Mauves and Yellows have been in the league for over decade now, and were previously Kessben FC but have never had their hands gripped on the main championship despite having two FA Cup titles in their cabinet.

The Tarkwa-based side are still yet to find their pieces in the ongoing season as they seem to be inconsistent in terms of grinding results that will mark them among the frontrunners.

After the painful home loss to Hearts of Oak, Medeama SC are currently on a two game winning streak with vital wins over King Faisal and Samartex as they currently sit 8th on the league standing with 23 points after 16 games.

Despite all these inconsistencies, the business mogul is still very optimistic his side will get back on track very soon and will still stand a chance of emerging champions of the ongoing season. He told Asempa FM in Accra;

"The league is not over yet,” the business mogul told Asempa FM.

“No team has won the league yet. If you look at the Ghana Premier League table, we have 23 points and Aduana have 31 points. It’s not over for us.”

Umar Abdul Rabi's men will face Tamale City FC in match-day 17 this weekend.
