Real Tamale United have been a torn in a flesh to the Porcupine Warriors in recent times, having beaten them in their previous two meeting but was a bad day in office this time after suffering a huge humiliation against the champions over the weekend in Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko marmalized the Northern Giants by an emphatic 4-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium in match-week 25 of the Ghana Premier League.

The game was really a balanced encounter with Kotoko slightly ahead but later took total control after goalkeeper Yaw Osei was shown the matching orders on the 33rd minute for handling the ball outside the box and was subsequently replaced with Sheriff Lukman.

From that set piece, youngster Augustine Agyapong opened the scoring account, Ugandan Steven Mukwala followed with a second half brace before Brazilian import Medeiros De Souza scored in the dying embers to seal the victory.

In a post-match interview, assistant coach Abdul Mumin Abdulai congratulated Kotoko for a deserved win but added they disorganized and distracted by the red card.

"I will congratulate Kotoko but the red card awarded to our goalkeeper. Looking into it I'm sure if the referee should review it, he will change his decision."

"The red card disorganized our team play. In any case it shouldn't have been that but it happened so we congratulate them for that."

Real Tamale United will welcome Bibiani Goldstars in the next round of matches.
