Ghanaian international, Jordan Ayew feels elated with their vital win over Leicester City over the weekend and has described it as a step forward.
Crystal Palace recorded an important 2-1 win over the Foxes at the Selhurst Park last Saturday in match-week of the English Premier League.
Ricardo Pereira opened the scoring account on the 56th minute but the host equalised just three minutes after through an own goal from Daniel Iversen.
Jordan Ayew was introduced to replace Wilfried Zaha right at the start of the second half and subsequently assisted Jean Mateta to score the winner.
Reacting to the win, the lanky forward sees it as a huge step and added they will hope to win more matches subsequently.
"We go away with three points and we are happy. It’s a really good step forwards. We just want to keep on winning games, enjoying our football and it’s a step forwards."
The Eagles will play as guests to Leeds United in their next league fixture at Elland Road.
