Enterprising forward Alex Aso was adjudged Man of The Match following his two goals as Gold Stars thumped Samartex 3-0 at Dun's Park on Sunday.
The 24-year-old strucked twice in the 17th and 67th minute to send the home fans agog in the match-week 15 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
Prince Owusu added the third goal at the 79th minute mark to seal the victory for the boomerang Miners.
Gold Stars will now be looking to continue pulling strings as there is still a long way to go this season, but it's clear that they will be a tough nut to crack for opposing teams as they are under the tutelage of coach Frmpong Manso.
