Ugandan forward Steven Mukwala have finally touched down in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, to sign a reported two-year deal with Asante Kotoko.

The 23-year-old is expected to undergo a mandatory medicals before officially pending his signature for the Porcupine Warriors.

 
He scored thirteen goals in twenty-six games for Uganda Revenue Authority SC (URA) in the Ugandan league last season.
 
He propelled URA to finish third with fifty-five points last season.
 
Asante Kotoko won the Ghana Premier league last season and will be competing in CAF inter-clubs competition in the upcoming season.
 
Asante Kotoko have started their preseason, although the fate of their head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum hangs in the air.
 
The Porcupine Warriors will wrap up their preseason in Turkey as they prepare to go all out in the Champions league and defend their league title.
 
The Ugandan attacker is expected to hit the ground running as reports emerge that, Franck Mbella Etouga is on the verge of leaving the Ghana Premier league champions.
 
Mukwala has previously had stints with Vipers and Maroons FC in Uganda.
