Highly-rated defender, Vincent Atinga has left Medeama SC following the expiration of his contract, Kickgh.com can report.
The 29-year-old joined the Mauves and Yellows in 2021 after ending his spells in Europe and Asia, notably with Albanian side KF Tirana and Kuwaiti topflight sides Qadsia SC and Al Shabbab.
The stalwart defender has been outstanding for Medeama SC since joining and netted 11 goals last season to help them win the Ghana Premier League for the first time in their history.
His consistent and unmatched performance earned him the Best Player accolade in the 2023 Ghana Football Association (GFA) awards.
Atinga, scored 21 goals in 74 matches for Medeama SC and his presence would have been really malleable for them in their Africa campaign.
Vincent Atinga is currently a free agent and is eligible to join any club of his choice from now henceforth.
