As the Ghana Premier League remains unpredictable in terms of match results, Bibiani Goldstars have erupted as one of the outstanding clubs of the season.
With the Miners still in contention for the league title, Chief Executive of Bibiani Goldstars, Akwasi Adu has boldly stated that they are not only striving for domestic success but are adequately prepared to compete in Africa's interclub elite competition.
“We are well prepared and well-resourced to compete in the CAF Champions League next season,” Adu said. “We will fight till the end of the season to ensure we finish on a high because the season is not over yet, but our focus is to play in Africa, and we are ready for that.”
Goldstars recent performances have fostered a sense of possibility among fans, with key wins drawing attention to them.
However, Adu believes the club’s ambition, coupled with strategic planning and strong management, makes them ready domestically and to take on Africa’s elite clubs in the next level of the competition.
“We are building something special here,” he added. “If we win the league, we will not go to Africa just to participate—we will compete.”
With a few matches left in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, all eyes will be on Goldstars to see if they can rack up the crown and carry their momentum into Africa’s biggest in inter-club competition.
