Karela United forward Emmanuel Owusu Boakye expressed his frustration with the club's current poor form.
The striker played for the team in their match against Hearts of Oak during Week 9 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, which ended in a 1-1 draw with Boakye scoring Karela United's goal.
In his post-match comments, he acknowledged the difficulties the team is facing, despite the players and the coach giving their best efforts. Boakye explained that they are struggling to achieve the desired results, and the situation is taking a toll on them.
"It's not easy for us. We are doing everything in our capacity, just like the coaches are also doing, but it's just not coming. Day in, day out, we check the league table. It's not easy for us. We're having sleepless nights," Boakye told StarTimes after the final whistle.
He reassured the fans that the team is determined to work even harder in the hopes of securing a victory in their upcoming game against Accra Lions.
