As the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season kicked off on Friday evening with an exhilarating clash between Hearts of Oak and RTU, the spotlight now turns to the teams determined to leave their mark.
Among these teams, Bibiani Gold Stars are approaching the season with a clear sense of purpose, as emphasized by their coach, Michael Osei. With high expectations in the air, Osei conveyed his optimism regarding his team's performance in the upcoming season.
In the previous season, Bibiani Gold Stars secured a 5th-place finish with 49 points after 34 games.
"We are ready for the league we are ready for the season whereby we have had a very good preseason," he said.
"So we are still work to make sure that through this workout we will get a good start in the league. We are hoping the team will do well this season," he added.
Gold Stars are set to face Berekum Chelsea away at the Golden City Park on Sunday, with the match scheduled to kick off at 3:00 pm.
