Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has assured fans that his team is fully prepared for their Ghana Premier League (GPL) Matchweek 21 encounter against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors will be hosting the Bibires at the Baba Yara Stadium at 3:00 PM.

Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated fixture, Ogum acknowledged the strength of their opponents but emphasized Kotoko’s readiness to secure maximum points.

"We are very ready for the game on Wednesday, especially based on the fact that we are playing against one of the best sides in the league. They have good quality players, a good coach, and they know what they are doing on the field, so we are very ready for them," Ogum stated.

Kotoko, who are chasing the league title, will be looking to maintain their strong form as they face a Berekum Chelsea side known for their tactical discipline and defensive solidity. The match is expected to be a tough contest, with both teams eager to strengthen their positions on the league table.

Currently in the thick of the title race, Kotoko will rely on key players such as Saaka Dauda and Kwame Opoku to break down Chelsea’s defense. Meanwhile, Berekum Chelsea, who have been impressive this season, will be determined to frustrate the Porcupine Warriors and snatch a crucial result.

Kotoko lead the table with 42 points from 23 games, while Chelsea sit eighth with 32 points. Their previous league meeting ended in a 1-1 draw, and with both sides eyeing a strong finish, another intense battle is expected in Kumasi.
