Head coach of Aduana Stars, Yaw Acheampong has stated they lost as results of not taking the chances that fell on their path and that's the lessons football teaches sometimes.
The Ogya lads failed to widen the gap at the top after succumbing a very painful 0-1 loss to Accra Lions in Dormaa, one many a football faithful never expected.
After enjoying a stellar five-game winning streak, the league leaders have now lost their last two matches but are still holding onto their lead at the top of the league log with 21 points.
Speaking on StarTimes, the enterprising tactician stated they were wasteful throughout reason they got punished and will hope to make good use of their chances in the next game.
"Like I said, football anything can happen. If you don’t take your chances, it can punish you. So, that is what happened today because if we had scored all the chances that we had, I don’t think the results will be negative like that.”
Aduana Stars will welcome Hearts of Oak in the next round of matches on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
