Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed a huge displeasure despite his side's ability to win on the final day to escape relegation.
The 'Phobians' fought from behind to beat Bechem United by 2-3 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park to escape a possible relegation and also wrap up their 2023/24 football season.
The Hunters had the lead twice in the game with Emmanuel Owusu and Bismark Edjeodji the scorers, but the Phobians still managed to carry the day with goals from two center-backs Kofi Agbesimah and Kelvin Osei Asibey coupled with another from Amankwah Baafi to seal the win.
Hearts of Oak following the win finished managed to finish on the 14th position with 45 points at the end of the season.
Speaking on StarTimes, the Ivorian gaffer was honest and admittedly stated they had a very bad season especially with how they ended it and he isn't happy with that kind of performance.
"To be frank, I'm not happy because our position wasn't good and it isn't the right position for Hearts of Oak."
"When the second round started, after three or four games, we were just seven points between us and the first-place team but today we were struggling to survive. It's very bad for us."
Coach Aboubakar Ouattara's future at Hearts of Oak is still not certain as to whether he will continue with the club next season or not.
