Kotoko's deputy gaffer, Abdulai Gazale mourns over their disappointing loss last Saturday and believed his lads were completely out of shape in the second half.
The Porcupine Warriors painfully suffered their second defeat of the season in the league after succumbing to a 2-1 defeat to Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in match-week 8.
George Mfegue opened the scoring account for the Reds with a fine strike but two second half goals from Kuka and starman David Abagna powered the 'Wey Una' outfit to their second win of the season.
Speaking after the game, the enterprising gaffer confessed this is one of the days they will think of since assuming the Kotoko job and added they were out of focused in the second half.
"We lacked concentration in the second half especially our four back and the opponent capitalized on that one then overturned the result."
“Today I must say that this is one of the bad days that we can think of as far as Kotoko is concerned because consistently away games we have been doing better."
“Look at the chances that we have created, so many chances we created to bury the game in the first half but unfortunately we couldn’t get that result and we were punished by that.”
Asante Kotoko after eight matches, are currently found 3rd on the league standing with 14 points.
