The stalwart full-back is highly optimistic about the Timber Giants maintaining their Premiership slot for the next season's campaign.
FC Samartex 1996 left-back Larry Sumaila says his side will avoid the drop zone to participate in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Sumaila in an interview with Accra-based Radio Gold stated that FC Samartex will survive in the Ghanaian top-flight after their team's debut appearance.
“Definitely we are in a good position but just that we are taking match by match and our calculations very very well," Sumaila told Radio Gold
“So definitely we are going to stay and that’s our ambition.
“This is our first time coming so our ambition is to stay in the league and the next season we will work towards winning the league if possible.”
Sumaila joined the Samreboi based club on a free transfer prior to the start of the 2022/23 season after his his four-year contract at Accra Hearts of Oak.
Samartex look quite safe on 42 points seated in 8th with four matches to end the 2022/23 Premier League.
