John Eduafo- head coach of Kotoku Royals despite their defeat to Hearts of Oak has heaped praises on the performance of his lads and added they are going to secure survival despite still remaining at the foot of the league log.

The newbies suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to the giants at the Accra Sports Stadium in match-week 22 of the ongoing GPL season.

They were really impressive in the game and somehow the dominant side at some point but a late header from defender Caleb Amankwah denied them from earning a point in the capital.

Speaking in a post-game interview, Eduafo believes they didn't deserve to loose but all the same lauded for his charges for great performance and added he is very optimistic they will survive.

"I'm so impressed with the performance of my team, we lost due to hard luck."

"We will survive. I'm very confident and we will do everything possible and we will survive."

They are currently lurking at the bottom of the table with just 17 points and will welcome King Faisal in the next round of matches.
