Kumasi Asante Kotoko guardsman Ahmed Adams has thrown a word of caution to his team-mates claiming they should be very careful in their MTN FA Cup quarter-final match against Bechem United on Sunday.

The former Berekum Chelsea centre-back is pessimistic that their opponents will give them a game of their live due to the defeat they suffered against them in the GPL on matchday 12 at their own backyard.

"We defeated them at their home grounds in the first round of the league.I can see that they'll be approaching this game with all seriousness by trying to give us tough time and that's why we need to be very careful in the game on Sunday." the 22-year-old lanky defender told Kickgh.com in an interview.

Kotoko lost the trophy to Medeama SC in last season's edition and Adams is now hopeful of reclaiming their title back, but maintains his outfit needs to be on top of their game if they are to achieve their target.

"We believe in ourselves as we're all aiming for the title. We want to bring the trophy back into our trophy cabinet as we lost it to Medeama last season. This time round,we're certain of winning the title if we're able to sail through and probably reach the finals. We've to be at our best to achieve this ultimate goal," Adams stated.

The kick off time for the crunch encounter is exactly 3:00 pm local time at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
