General manager of FC Samartex, Edmund Ackah has charged Ghanaian football fanatics to expect great performance from his side next season as they aim to change the old status quo and remain in the Ghana Premier League.
The veteran football administrator believes they will pull the numbers and send strong shock-waves to any Premier League club they come face-to-face with.
"Most of the teams that qualify to the Premier League normally fail to stay up in the league. The perception has always been that the teams just qualify to make up the numbers in the Ghana Premier League but we want to change the narrative," he told Asempa FM.
“We want to stay in the league for the first season but from next season, we let Ghanaians know us well” he said.
The Timber Giants are currently 8th on the league log with 42 points after 30 rounds of matches this season.
