Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojša Kapor has admitted that his side struggled to convert their chances despite putting in extra efforts to secure a precious 1-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars in their exciting Ghana Premier League clash.

The Phobians claimed all three points in their match-week 8 encounter at the University of Ghana Stadium, courtesy a lte superb Martin Karikari finish, to extend their winning streak to three matches.

Despite the victory, the Bosnian tactician acknowledged that his players had difficulty finding the back of the net after creating several opportunities during the game but still manged to emerge victorious.

“We struggled to find a way to put the ball in the net despite creating several chances,” the Serbian coach said after the match.

Hearts of Oak climbed to the top of the league table with 17 points after the win and will travel to Debibi United in the next round of matches.
