Medeama winger Derrick Fordjour has voiced his disappointment after his team's loss to Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League week 11 clash.
The Yellow and Mauves suffered a narrow defeat at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, with Sheriff Mohammed scoring the decisive goal.
Asante Kotoko were awarded a penalty in the 60th minute, and Sheriff converted from the spot to secure victory for the Ghanaian giants.
Speaking to Kessben FM, the attacker expressed his disappointment following the defeat against Kotoko.
“It’s a painful defeat. We did our best against Asante Kotoko but suffered a painful defeat,” he said.
The CAF Champions League campaigners are currently 8th on the Ghana Premier League table with 16 points after 11 games.
