Hearts of Oak assistant gaffer, Nana Yaw Amankwah has rued his team's inability to burry their goal-scoring opportunities in their goalless draw against Basake Holy Stars over the weekend.
The 'Phobians' have now extended their drawing streak to two after yet another goalless draw weeks ago against champions FC Samartex.
With 30 points after 18 matches, the Rainbow Club are currently occupying the sixth position, just two points away from the top 4 and four behind the top-spot.
In an interview with Globe TV after the game, Nana Amankwah said they will return to the drawing board quickly to right all wrongs and sharpen all edges before their next game.
“We missed a lot of chances in the match. We will correct our mistakes for subsequent matches in the league” he said.
Hearts of Oak will return home to face high-flying Kpando Heart of Lions in what will be a herculean clash in the next round of matches.
