Benjamin Afutu's agent, Daniel Tackie has revealed his client's readiness to return to Hearts of Oak and also explained why he terminated his contract in Egypt
The combative midfielder joined Eastern Company SC on a four year deal and that was right after ending his stay with the 'Phobians' after the 2020/21 season.
The 26 year could spend only six months with the Green and Whites and featured in nine matches for them within that period before calling it a quit last month.
With this, his agent Daniel Tackie has emphasized that, his player left the Tobacco company club mainly because they refused to settle his salaries as promised and added his player will be ready for another Hearts of Oak spell if they make an offer. He told Happy FM in Accra;
"Afutu was Eastern company’s best player but the club is unprofessional, they weren’t paying Afutu that’s why the player is back to Ghana”, he told Happy FM.
“We have reported the issue to FIFA. Afutu is currently a free agent”.
"We will consider Hearts Of Oak if they approach my player officially."
