Bismark Kobi-Mensah, the head coach of Great Olympics, has disclosed the tactical approach that helped his team defeat Asante Kotoko in their match on matchday 28 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.
The Wonder Club secured a crucial 2-0 victory over the Porcupine Warriors, keeping their hopes of survival alive, thanks to goals from Michael Osei and Emmanuel Akesseh in the first half.
Following the game, the young trainer praised his players and credited their tactical approach for their win over the defending champions. "In the first half, we tactically prevented them from playing," he explained to StarTimes. "We had a specific plan for Christopher Nettey, and it worked. We won the game based on tactics," he concluded.
Great Olympics' win has elevated them to 14th place on the league table with 35 points.
The two-time Premier League champions will next travel to DUN's Park to face Bibiani Gold Stars in their matchday 29 fixture.
