Akwasi Adu, the Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Gold Stars, has asserted that the team will not face relegation from the Ghana Premier League.

Gold Stars have experienced a downturn in the current 2023/24 season following an initially strong start. After 11 games, The Golden Boys are positioned 17th on the league table with 11 points, having won two, drawn five, and lost four matches.

The team's challenging beginning to the campaign led to the management requesting head coach Michael Osei to take a short leave.

Nevertheless, Akwasi Adu is confident that they will retain their Premier League status despite the season's difficult start.

"I can assure our fans that we will not go on relegation because if you look at the point gap, we will still survive," he stated in an interview with Asempa FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com.

"Technical changes are part of the game, so we will ensure we stay in the Premier League," he added.

Bibiani Gold Stars is scheduled to face Bechem United in the upcoming matchday 12 fixture at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park this weekend.
