Bibiani GoldStars head coach, Stephen Frimpong Manso, has credited the unwavering support of the club’s fans for their impressive unbeaten start in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Miners have been formidable at DUN's Park, securing 13 out of a possible 15 points at home. This strong form has propelled them to the top of the league standings, where they currently lead with 19 points after nine matches.
In an interview with Joy Sports, Frimpong Manso emphasized that GoldStars' home success is largely due to the dedication of their supporters.
“[Our home record] is a very good thing; to be able to win at home is important, and we want to keep this momentum going," Frimpong Manso stated. "With the fans behind us, I believe we’ll continue to give our best."
GoldStars’ remarkable season has been powered by both solid defense and effective attacking play. They have scored the second-highest number of goals (9) in the league while also conceding the second-fewest.
“These stats show that we’re performing well both offensively and defensively,” Frimpong Manso continued. "It motivates us to keep improving on what we've done so far. I'm very pleased with our progress."
GoldStars will aim to extend their unbeaten run when they face Young Apostles at the Wenchi Sports Stadium on Matchday 10, as they look to solidify their position at the league's summit.
