Aduana Stars head coach Yaw Acheampong has outlined the key strategies his team must adopt to secure a victory in their Week 12 Ghana Premier League clash against Asante Kotoko.
The former Ghana international stressed that his players must show character and resilience to overcome the challenges posed by the record Ghanaian champions.
The Fire Boys will host the Porcupine Warriors at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park on Sunday, and Acheampong is determined to guide his side to a strong performance.
“Playing against Kotoko, you need players with character because it won’t be an easy game. We have to play with character,” Acheampong stated during his pre-match press conference.
“This is not a match to take lightly. We all understand the significance of the game. The result is very, very important. We are doing our best to motivate the players and remind them that last season we managed to beat Kotoko here, and we aim to do the same this season.”
Aduana FC currently sit eighth on the league table with 11 points, while Asante Kotoko are in sixth place with 15 points.
