Claude Shooting Bortey has been named NASCO Player of the Month for March after strong performances for Young Apostles FC.
The central defender had a very good month, scoring three goals and winning one Man of the Match award.
Bortey shake off competition from Setsofia Aqetey of Vision FC and Samuel Okai of Bechem United, who also played well during the month.
Apart from scoring, Bortey was also strong in defence and played well in every match, showing how important he is to the ‘Agya Na Ɔwɔ Tumi’ Boys.
As part of the award, he will receive a 43-inch NASCO television and a NASCO double-door fridge, supplied by Electroland Ghana Limited.
