Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Yussif Alhassan Chibsah has publicly expressed his interest in becoming the club’s Chief Executive Officer role, which has been vacant for a while now.

Chibsah has made himself available for the position, insisting he has the experience and capability to lead the Porcupine Warriors at the administrative level.

“If they give me the role, I will take it. I’m capable of becoming the CEO of Asante Kotoko,” he stated.

The former middleman enjoyed a notable playing career, featuring for Kotoko before moving abroad to play in several European countries. He now believes he is ready to transition into a top management role at the club he once represented.

His name adds to a growing list of potential candidates linked to the vacant position, including George Afriyie and Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Kotoko are currently sixth on the Ghana Premier League table with 43 points after 29 matches and will next face Dreams FC on Sunday, May 3, as they look to finish the season strongly.
