Despite manning the tenth position in the Ghana Premier League table, Berekum Chelsea defender captain Zakaria Fuseini has insisted they will have to dig deep if they are to finish the season in a respectable position.
"We didn’t expect to be at this position but God knows what’s best for us. We have to change things going into the second round and work extra hard in order to finish in a respectable position at the end of the season,” he told pressmen.
The Bibires finished the first round of the season with 22 points over the weekend after beating Medeama 2-1 at the Golden City Park in a match-day 17 clash on Sunday.
Berekum Chelsea will host Vision FC at the Golden City Park on Sunday, January 26, 2025, with Kick-Off slated at 15:00 GMT.
