Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito has voiced his frustration after his side failed to convert a series of clear chances in their goalless draw with Vision FC on Wednesday.
Giants Asante Kotoko have been held by Vision FC to a pulsating goalless draw at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium in an oustanding match-day 7 clash of the Ghana Premier League.
Medeama SC Chief Executive Officer, James Essilfie, says the club are determined to build a footballing identity inspired by Barcelona’s entertaining and tactical brand of play as part of their long-term development plan.
Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Ibrahim Salifu has joined the Benin national team for the first time after completing his nationality change from Ghana.
Highly-rated goalkeeper, Aziz Haruna Dari will get the nod to maintain the post for Asante Kotoko in their outstanding Ghana Premier League match-day 7 against Vision FC.
Aduana Stars have confirmed the departure of their assistant coach WO1 Rtd. Paul Tandoh, bringing an end to his spell with the Dormaa-based club.
In a statement, the two-time Ghana Premier League champions expressed appreciation for Tandoh’s service and professionalism during his time with the team.
“We thank him for his dedication and contribution to the club,” the statement read.
Tandoh, who previously worked with Hearts of Oak and other top-flight sides, joined Aduana’s technical setup in July 2022, with a reputation for his tactical acumen, player development expertise, and disciplined approach to coaching.
His exit comes at a time when Aduana Stars are enjoying a fine run of form in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, having won six of their opening nine matches to sit top of the table with 19 points.
Despite the change, the Ogya Boys remain focused on maintaining their early-season fire as they push for a third league title. Kickgh.com understands that the club’s decision is to form part of a broader restructuring of the technical team aimed at strengthening their title charge.
The Ogya Boys head to Kumasi this weekend to take on Asante Kotoko in a matchweek 10 showdown, as they look to stretch their fine start to the season.
