Hearts of Oak had high hopes for Issah Kuka, but he signed with North Macedonian side SHKUPI, leaving the team with Kojo Obeng Junior, Albert Eonde, and Wanet Kashala as their attacking options.
Koopman, who recently took permanent charge of the club, believes they need more firepower upfront.
“What I want is, one goes another is coming back that was also what we said to each other but still not filled.
He further mentioned the situation regarding Kassim Cisse, saying,“He [Kassim Cissé] is here but still not signed so he can train but in training I cannot get three points.
“So it’s nice but that’s it, so I gave some pressure to the board.” Martin Koopman told Africa-foot.com.
Kassim Cisse, who arrived from Ivory Coast, has impressed the technical team but has yet to finalize a deal with the club.
Hearts of Oak currently have 3 points from their opening three games, with a 1-0 loss to RTU and Tano Bofoakwa in matches day 1 and 3, and a 1-0 victory against Nsoatreman at the Accra Sports Stadium in week 2.
