South African Premier League side Supersport United have confirmed the signing of Chad international defender Eric Mbangossoum and Zimbabwe striker Nokutenda Mangezi ahead of the upcoming season.
The duo have been signed on one-year deals with options to extend for another season as Gavin Hunt’s side are further bolstered with continental experience.
Mbangossoum, who spent four seasons in Angola with Union Touarga, was strongly linked with a move to Simba SC in January but after being priced out of the move and has joined SuperSport United on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Mangezi is joining the club from the Real Betis Academy in Zimbabwe, becoming the first player to arrive in the Premier Soccer League from the neighbouring country in two years.
SuperSport United will begin their 2024–25 Betway Premiership campaign with a trip to face Mamelodi Sundowns.
