Both Qatar and Senegal will be hoping to record their first victory at the mundial at the Al Thumama Stadium.

Host nation, Qatar lost their opening game by 2:0 to Ecuador, whereas Senegal also succumbed to a late 2:0 defeat to  the Netherlands.

Qatar are the only host nation in history to lose their opening game at the World Cup.

Qatar head coach, Félix Sanchez said "the responsibility and nerves got the best of us" after their  lost to Ecuador.

Almoez Ali and Akram Afif dissapointed in the attacking third as they failed to shot at goal.
