Croatia came from a goal down to demolish Canada 4-1 in the second group F fixture at the Khalifa International Stadium on Sunday.

After a goalless draw against Morocco in their opening game, Croatia bounced back stronger to dampen Canada's hope of progressing from the group stage.

Canada have failed to qualify from the group stage for the second time, after exiting in the group stage in the 1986 World Cup, after Morocco stunned Belgium by 2:0 in the other group game.
 
Alphonso Davies rose high to head low into the middle of the post in the 2nd minute from Tajon Buchanan's cross to give Canada the lead.
 
Marko Livaja shot from the box went straight to Milan Borjan on the 22nd minute.
 
Andrej Kramaric's goal was disallowed after referee Andres Matias Matonte found him offside in the 26th minute.

Croatia will meet Belgium, whereas Canada will face Morocco in a crucial last group stage encounter.
