Brazilian striker, Michael Vinicius Silva De Morais, has successfully completed his move to Ugandan top-flight club, KCCA FC.
The former Asante Kotoko striker's signing is aimed at bolstering the club's squad for the upcoming 2023/24 football season.
In a post-deal interview, Michael Vinicus Silva expressed his delight, stating that he is thrilled to continue his football journey in Uganda.
He shared, "I'm excited to be joining KCCA FC in Uganda. I've had the opportunity to play for different clubs around the world, but it feels great to be here."
The Brazilian forward also emphasized his enthusiasm for joining KCCA FC, a well-regarded club with a rich history. He added, "They have a great reputation, and I'm eager to be a part of it. Additionally, I look forward to embracing a new culture and meeting new people."
Having gained some experience in African football during his time with Asante Kotoko, Michael Vinicus Silva is optimistic about making a positive impact in Uganda.
He is determined to score numerous goals and contribute significantly to the success of his new club, KCCA FC.
Vinius played only 75 minutes of football for Asante Kotoko, scoring twice.
