Ex-Black Stars midfielder, Rabiu Mohammed believes that Ghana will miss the goals of Asamoah Gyan, as he insists that he would have guaranteed goals for the team.
Ghana will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stages in Qatar.
Ghana will officially open camp on 10th November in Abu before playing Switzerland in their final pre-World Cup friendly.
Asamoah Gyan is the record goalscorer for Ghana with Fifty-one goals, and is the highest scoring African at the World with six goals.
He has been without a club since ending his stay with Legon Cities in the 2020/21 season.
The 36-year-old has played down hopes of playing at the World Cup after revealing his dreams of playing at the 2022 global showpiece.
"We are going to miss Asamoah Gyan a lot going into Qatar 2022," he said on Akoma FM
"With the presence of Gyan in our team, we were assured of at least a goal. Coupled with our solid defense, Ghana could win games with Gyan's goal.
"It's unfortunate we don't have him. We are going to miss him. But I'm sure the new strikers will aspire to be like him and deliver the goals for us," he added.
