The 25-year-old forward, who cannot part ways with controversies, says winning the Fifa Ballon D'or title still remains his prime target.
Liverpool striker, Mario Balotelli is still hopeful of clinching the world's most coveted individual awards in the near future.
The Merseyside outfit flop man admits, had it not been for his antics and glitch of form for a couple of seasons now,he would have achieved his target by winning the gong, but asserted all is not lost yet, as he will have it in his fold in due course.
The 16million pounds frontman told Italian News Paper Corriere della sera:"On the scale of 0 to 10,I stopped at five, but I'll get to 10 eventually.I want to get there.I will win the Ballon D'or,"
"I do realise I've spent two years of my career when I could've been getting to 10 and instead stayed at five. The Ballon D'or might seem laughable and I might have done everything to be the best, but the important thing is I realised it's not too late."
The 25-year-old is very much certain of playing in the EPL for the upcoming season with his parent club, following an eyesore performance with AC Milan when he was farmed out on loan last season.
"My future? I hope it will be at Liverpool," he surmised.Balotelli added: "In my view there weren't enough[expectatitons put on me],as I can do so much more than what I said. But it takes time."
Mario Balotelli has managed only seven goals in the last two seasons since his arrival at Liverpool.
