Former Black Stars striker, Nii Odartey Lamptey, says he's not comfortable with Black Stars opponents in the group stage but believes that they can reach the semi-finals if they qualify.
Ghana have qualified to the world cup in Qatar later this year, after beating Nigeria in the play-offs.
The Black Stars have been billed to face South Korea, Uruguay and Portugal in the Group H if the mundial.
Last month, Ghana beat Madagascar in Cape Coast before a stalemate with Central African Republic away.
Subsequently, the Black Stars participated in the Four-nation tournament, Kirin cup, in Japan and placed third.
Odartey Lamptey admits that he's not comfortable with the Black Stars group but insists that if Ghana qualifies from the group, they should be able to reach the semis.
"It is possible that we can reach the semi-final even though I am not too comfortable with the group that we are in," he told GNA.
" If we are able to emerge from the group to the next round, I am sure we should reach the semis," he added.
