Wednesday, 8th June, 2016 will see the World XI look horns with twenty-three times Ghana league champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium to commemorate this years election in a unity game.

Stephen Oduro who is a living legend of the club will lead the porcupine warriors against the world on Wednesday night.

  An exhaustive first round of the Ghanaian league which saw the club having a tipsy-turvy moment finishing third on the league after fifteen matches, will settle it up for their preparing for the second round of the season against the World XI led by Stephen Appiah.

  Stephen, who has served the club for more than fifteen years will be honoured with a honour to lead the team on Wednesday night.

  The game dubbed to be a unity game for this years election will witness legendary players like Hasselbaink, Okocha, Campbell, Simao and many other world stars before it is wrapped up in Accra on Sunday.

  The game is already opened up to the general public with targets available at leading shell shops in Kumasi.
