Seth Adjei, widely known as GhMaxi, is an accomplished and celebrated photographer and graphic designer who has made a monumental impact on the Ghanaian sports industry.
His remarkable trajectory began in 2020 after completing his media studies at Sir Franco Media Institute in Sunyani in 2019.
With his fervent thirst for creativity and sports, GhMaxi has risen quickly through the ranks, working with top-tier sporting agencies, clubs, and organizations.
In 2021, he was appointed as a Venue Media Officer to represent the Ghana Football Association at the Bibiani Dun’s Park during football matches.
That same year, he was appointed as the IT and Media Officer for Bibiani Gold Stars, with the primary responsibility of creating and managing the club’s social media platforms.
As a Graphic Designer:
GhMaxi has worked with numerous sporting agencies and companies, including a UK-based sports agency Afrecon, Alpha Sports Consult (which manages players like Joseph Paintsil, Jerome Opoku, and Nicholas Opoku), and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
His impressive portfolio includes designing matchday flyers, transfers, and unveiling events for these agencies. He has worked with some of the very top journalists in Ghana, including the toughest female voice on television and radio, Vim Lady Afia Pokuaa, and also had a limited opportunity to design graphics for a prominent club like the year 2000 CAF Champions League winners and the CNN’s 8th ranked football club in the world for that same period, Accra Hearts of Oak. He currently works with Bibiani Gold Stars.
In Photography:
GhMaxi has covered various sporting events, including the Ghana Premier League, MTN FA Cup, the CAF Confederations, and CAF Champions League competitions, among others.
His expertise has earned him unlimited accreditation from the Ghana Football Association to cover all sporting events in the country.
He recently made history by covering his maiden AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast early this year, producing high-quality and leading images that showcased his talent.
Subsequently, he was accredited to cover the African Games 2024 in Accra, Ghana, which ended not long ago.
Honours:
GhMaxi’s arrestive work has not gone unnoticed. In 2023, he received the Bibiani Youth Eminence Award for Best Graphic Designer.
The following year, he was honoured by the Western North Youth Association as the Best Graphic Designer of the Year.
