Mozambique's coach, Chiquinho Conde, showers praise on Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus as the Black Stars gear up for a crucial clash in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Facing a must-win situation after a winless start, Ghana had a tough journey in the tournament, losing 2-1 to Cape Verde and drawing 2-2 with Egypt in their first two games.

Mohammed Kudus, playing for West Ham United, made a remarkable impact with a brace in Ghana's 2-2 draw against Egypt, earning commendation from Coach Conde.

During the pre-match conference, Conde expressed admiration for Kudus but stressed the importance of teamwork for the Black Stars to secure victory. He noted, "He is a great player, and it is a great pleasure to see him play, but this is a team game. If he plays alone, he will not be able to win the game, so they need to play like a team. We have assessed the Ghana team and know their strengths and weaknesses; we know they like to play more individually."

The upcoming clash against Mozambique is crucial for the Black Stars, as they aim for victory to progress to the next round of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire. Likewise, Mozambique also eyes advancement, with a win in Monday's match.

Cape Verde has already clinched the top spot in the group with consecutive victories over Ghana and Mozambique. Egypt sits in second place with two points, while both Ghana and Mozambique have one point each. The tournament intensifies as teams vie for their places in the next stage, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and competition.
