With the Black Stars in a must-win situation after faltering in their initial two games—a 2-1 loss to Cape Verde and a 2-2 draw with Egypt—Conde emphasized a final-match approach in their upcoming encounter.
"We will treat the game as if it were a final; Ghana's strength lies in individual abilities, but my team has thoroughly assessed them. We'll pinpoint the weak link in their team to secure the desired result," asserted Conde during the pre-match conference.
The Black Stars' fate hangs in the balance, requiring a victory against Mozambique to advance to the next round. Similarly, Mozambique eyes progression, knowing that a win in Monday's match is their ticket forward in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations held in Cote d'Ivoire.
