Former captain of the senior national team, the Black Stars, Stephen Appiah on Wednesday dashed to the training grounds of the team to encourage and motivate them as they prepare for the decisive match against the Central African Republic on Thursday.
Appiah encouraged and whipped up the spirit of the players saying; "You guys know the assignment already. Tomorrow (Thursday) is the last game to qualify for AFCON. And I know that you are ready, I can see.
"You have to win the hearts of the fans. That’s the most important thing," Tonaldo blatantly told the Black Stars players.
The Black Stars will face the Wild Beasts of Central African Republic today (Thursday), September 7 at 16:00 GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Ghana needs a win or draw to secure qualification for the tournament in Ivory Coast next year.
