The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) trophy has arrived in France before the international friendly games between the Benin Republic, Uruguay, and the Ivory Coast.
The Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire defeated Nigeria 2-1 to win the prestigious trophy.
The West African powerhouse have taken the much sought trophy on a number of tours and trips since winning it.
In an international friendly in France, the Ivorians will play Uruguay and Benin, with the trophy scheduled to be by the sidelines.
Alongside team coach Emerson Fae, the trophy landed at the 102 Av. Raymond Poincaré, 75116 Paris, office complex of the Ivory Coast embassy in France
